COST OF PLAYSTATION 3

Today the Sony European Vice president has a unvealed the cost of Sony's new game console. He said the price tag on the console will be around £350 which sound a bit expensive. On the other hand when you see the technology, this console will have then it sounds like a resonable price. The problem that Sony will have is the competition between Microsoft XBOX 360, selling at £205 for the normal pack and £280 for a premium.

Since Sony is releasing it's next generation console sometime in November, Microsoft Xbox 360 will be out in the market for more than 10 months giving them the chance to drop prices. Maybe Sony has to rethink on how on earth is a middle class gamer afford a console that expensive?
