Akashi Kaykio - Longest Bridge in the World

This is the longest bridge in the world, located in Japan.It was built in 1998 and has a span of 1991 metres -2532 feet. It's across the Akashi Strait to link te city of Kobe with Awaji-shima Island. The amazing thing is not how long the bridge is but that is also extremely tall. Its two towers, 928 feet, which is higher than any other bridge towers in the world.
